Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

Theory and Applications of Far Infrared Rays

What is the science behind Far-Infrared Rays (FIR) healthcare products?

FIR healthcare products are mainly applied to improve the human body's "microcirculation". Scientific studies have shown that the use of FIR promotes the production of Nitric Oxide (NO) in the blood, causes micro vascular expansion, increases the blood supply to various body parts, and greatly increases the oxygen-carrying function of red blood cells. The microcirculation function is enhanced.

In general, by enhancing the microcirculation function of the body, FIR products promote healing to the affected area and alleviate symptoms such as chronic pain and soreness. Long-term use can benefit ones (especially aged people) health.

Does Far-Infrared Rays product produce radiation, and will it cause harm to the human body?
The wavelength range of electromagnetic waves emitted by FIR therapy is between 3 to1000 micrometers. This is very different from "radiation" commonly known to cause carcinogenic damage on the human cell molecules. Moreover, the measured power of the R-Ray Soft Pad is non-electric in the microwatt-level, so there is no concern about excessive energy that can cause harm to the human body.
Will FIR bring any side-effects?

FIR healthcare products use the principle of coherence resonance to activate cells and produce natural curative effects.

It is non-invasive and does not involve any drug. Thus, it is gentle on the body compared to medicinal injection or oral drugs.

There are no known side effects.

R-Ray Soft Pad (Also known as FIR Pad) Information

When this Soft Pad is in direct contact with our body, it works by absorbing the human body's natural heat and via the principle of coherence resonance, generates and releases Far Infrared rays back to the surface on which it is in direct contact with.

Sometimes, a mild gentle heat might be felt. This process produces natural curative effects to the prescribed sore or symptomatic part of our body.

In some regions, R-Ray Soft Pad is also known as R-Ray FIR Pad.
